Volunteer

There are many ways to give your time and talent to The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, Mass., Inc.®.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are a big part of "The House That Love Built ®" Without them, we would not be able to provide all of the assistance to families who stay with us.

Application To Volunteer - please complete and mail to:  Ronald McDonald House, 34 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107 (please include your email address on the application)

RECOGNITION

Volunteers can have regular shifts at the House. By sharing your special talents, or just being there to tend to families' needs, answer phones, or take messages, you will make a difference. Right now we have a particular need for volunteers for evenings, weekends and some shifts during the week.

COOKING FOR FAMILIES
If your club, organization, religious group, or familiy is looking for an outreach project, cooking a meal for our families is always a treat. Baking at the House or at home and bringing it to the House, or preparing a meal or dessert is a much appreciated service.

OFFERING YOUR SERVICES
Your or your business may be able to provide specialized services for the House. Whether you're an expert in computers, data entry, or general fix-it duties, we can always use a pair of hands.

COMMITTEES YOU CAN JOIN
With many activities to service our families and raise funds, there is always work to do. Please call if you have an interest in serving on one of our committees. They are:
Public speaking; fund raising; special events; newsletter; volunteer committee; TABS; Lights of Love; Bricks campaign; Golf Tournament; Holiday Cards and many more opportunities.

TEEN BOARD VOLUNTEERS
Teen Board volunteers help make our House possible. Our Teen Board members play a valuable role collecting food and paper products, raising public awareness and organizing fund raisers. In addition, they perform reception and clerical duties, cook meals, decorate, organize social activities, and are coached in the art of public speaking and fund raising. With well-planned bylaws, good leadership and consistent supervision, youth are priceless. For more information and applications, call the Ronald McDonald House at (413) 794-5683.
